Graph AI raises $13.3M Series A for patient safety

Graph AI has raised $13.3 million in a Series A round led by Insight Partners, with participation from existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners.

The round comes nearly a year after the startup raised its seed round in October 2025. The fresh capital will fund expansion across the US and Europe and accelerate product development.

Founded in 2024, Graph AI develops Graph Safety, an AI-powered platform that automates workflows for pharmacovigilance and patient safety teams in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. The platform combines AI with deterministic controls, validation layers, and end-to-end audit trails to help pharma companies manage safety operations while maintaining traceability and human oversight.

Graph Safety currently offers two modules. Intake captures and triages adverse event reports. Nucleus, an intelligent safety database, automates case processing. A third module, Report, focused on automated aggregate reporting, is scheduled to launch this month. The company is also working with customers on upcoming products, including Signal, which is designed to identify emerging safety signals and patterns across cases.

Graph AI claims live deployments have reduced case processing turnaround times from more than three hours to under 10 minutes, a reduction of over 90%, while lowering operating costs by up to 66%. The startup says it has onboarded pharmaceutical and biotech customers across North America and other markets.
