Glance Android TV integration will make idle screens shoppable
Glance announced a strategic partnership with Google under which its platform will be integrated by default on Android TVs across the US, India and Japan. The company said the collaboration will turn idle TV screens into interactive, shoppable storefronts across fashion, travel, food, wellness and other lifestyle categories.
Glance is a homegrown agentic e-commerce platform. The partnership will evolve the ambient screen from a passive backdrop into an interactive, AI-driven inspiration portal for shopping and discovery.
The company said the integration will be an opt-in ecosystem powered by an intelligent shopping agent. For Google, the partnership enhances the utility of the Android TV platform, turning it into an interactive lifestyle hub.

“By combining the scale of Google's Android TV ecosystem with Glance's AI-first commerce models, we are turning the living room into a space where inspiration meets intent. Whether it is fashion, home decor, or travel, we are making shopping and discovery seamless, immersive, and interactive,” InMobi and Glance CEO and Founder Naveen Tewari said.
Glance said the Google partnership builds on its existing partnerships with Airtel and DIRECTV. The company also partnered with Samsung in June to roll out its interactive digital shopping platform for smart TV users in the US.
