Fundly.ai Raises $4 Mn Pre-Series A for Pharma Commerce

B2B pharma distribution startup Fundly.ai has raised $4 Mn (about ₹38 Cr) in a pre-Series A round co-led by existing investors Accel and Multiply. Former RBL Bank executive director Rajeev Ahuja and undisclosed angel investors also participated.
Separately, the startup secured $900K in venture debt from Alteria Capital, bringing its total funding to over $7 Mn.
The Mumbai-based company is building a coordination layer for India's pharmaceutical supply chain, connecting ordering, payments, settlements, and credit across a trade that still runs mostly on WhatsApp, phone calls, and paper ledgers.
Its platform integrates with distributors' ERP systems and manages payment cycles. A Pune pilot already covers roughly 3,000 retailers and multiple distributors. Fundly.ai also operates FundlyMart, a B2B eCommerce platform where retailers and distributors can discover and order medicines with credit embedded directly into checkout.

The startup began as a lender to the pharma supply chain in 2021 and has since expanded into commerce and transaction infrastructure. It claims to have served more than 4,100 retailers across 24-plus cities and 600-plus pin codes.
With the fresh capital, Fundly.ai plans to deepen its presence in existing markets before entering new cities and to expand its transaction and SaaS infrastructure beyond the Pune pilot. It also intends to build an intelligence layer over commerce and transaction data to improve demand forecasting and credit underwriting.
India's pharmaceutical distribution and logistics market is valued at $19.35 Bn in 2026 and projected to reach $25.35 Bn by 2031. The sector's fragmentation and its continued reliance on informal systems have drawn a wave of digitisation efforts from startups including SwishX, Zeelab, and DocPharma.
"India's medicine distribution runs on WhatsApp, phone calls and paper ledgers. It works, but nothing connects. We're building the coordination layer that sits underneath it, where ordering, payments and credit finally talk to each other," said founder and CEO Amit Chawla.
Fundly.ai's approach of embedding payments and credit into the ordering flow targets the coordination gap at the centre of that fragmentation.
