In the ever-evolving entrepreneurship landscape, success often hinges on more than just innovative ideas—it also requires unwavering dedication, strategic guidance, and a supportive community.

Foundership offers a ray of hope for emerging startups, materializing from the shared vision of two seasoned entrepreneurs deeply ingrained in the tech realm since the early days of the internet.

The Inception

In this climate of uncertainty, the demand for Indian Web3 accelerators has surged, And Foundership is one among them that stands for a commitment to nurturing the next generation of Web3 entrepreneurship across Tier II and III cities in India.

Rooted in the experience of its founders, Santosh Panda and Bimlesh Gundurao, embarked on this journey back in January 2021, their efforts culminated in May that year with the launch of the six-month LaunchCamp program—an initiative designed to nurture and propel early-stage startups toward success.

The founders provided pro bono support to over 200 startups in 2020, offering a lifeline to these early-stage startups, providing mentorship, and facilitating connections with esteemed investors such as Hashed, Blume Ventures, and Paradigm Shift Capital.

“When we announced our programmes, we expected 50-60 applications, but we received 250 applications from early-stage entrepreneurs," says Santosh.

The Foundership Ecosystem

At the heart of Foundership lies the immersive programs they offer, enabling startups to engage with industry experts and seasoned mentors.

Each program provides masterclasses and guided sessions, equipping startups with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive in the competitive Web3 landscape.

About 7 startups are then selected to progress onto the rigorous LaunchCamp, where they undergo intensive mentorship to refine their business models and secure vital funding.

The Coach Collective

Recognizing the importance of mentorship in startup success, Foundership spearheaded the Coach Collective —a gathering of industry experts, including those from Coach DAO; that actively engage with startups, offering invaluable insights and guidance.

Through weekly calls and personalized mentorship, Foundership ensures that startups are not only market-ready but poised for long-term success.

Aju G Nair, founder of LinkDot, reiterates that having a systematic process to shape their product was crucial.

“As an early-stage startup, we lacked mentors with substantial expertise and operational abilities to advise us,” he says, adding that this was part of the reason he joined 0xCamp.

With a global footprint spanning Singapore, Dubai, and India, Foundership is the stepping stone for many founders and start-ups trying to take their place in the industry.

Foundership's 2023 was the first full Web3 year, and what a year it proved to be. Milestones were covered in every quarter and a surge in the number of start-ups funded!

  • 650+global startups applied to our 0xCamp - 3-month Incubation program.
  • 40 startups in 5 cohorts. Startup from 9 Countries.
  • 45% funded startups during/pre-program.
