Flam raises $40 Mn Series B for enterprise AI content

AI-powered content platform Flam has raised $40 Mn in its Series B funding round led by QED Investors. The round included a mix of primary and secondary capital.

Participating investors include Shah Rukh Khan’s family office, Claypond Capital (the family office of Manipal Group chairman Ranjan Pai), Australian Gulf Capital, and angel investors Martin Chavez and Olivier Pomel. Existing backers RTP Global and Dovetail also increased their investment. The specific valuation and terms were not disclosed.

Flam builds an AI-driven interactive content platform that lets enterprises create immersive experiences for marketing, product visualisation, entertainment, and customer engagement. Its technology stack, including the AI models, is built in-house.

The company holds more than 15 patents and serves around 100 customers, including Google, Reliance, and Hyundai, across three formats: interactive videos (Flicks), 3D content through a camera interface (Airboards), and AI-powered conversational characters (Visual Agents).

More than 50% of Flam’s business now comes from outside India, and the startup expects that share to grow as it expands globally into markets with higher enterprise marketing spend, such as the US and Japan. The company has set a target of $100 Mn in annual recurring revenue by next year.

The fundraising will accelerate R&D in AI models, expand the product suite, introduce new interactive content configurations, and scale enterprise sales across existing and new markets.
