Fibe to raise ₹750 crore for digital lending platform

Digital consumer financing platform Fibe plans to raise ₹750 crore, primarily to strengthen its lending subsidiary and for general corporate purposes.

Fibe operates a technology-led digital lending platform with a mobile application and web interface that supports multiple lending products and distribution channels across India.

During FY26, the platform processed about 1.31 million loan applications each month, resulting in fresh disbursals of ₹7,614 crore. The platform managed 15.74 million unique applicants during the year, of whom 2.02 million were approved through Fibe’s AI- and ML-enabled credit assessment process.

The company’s assets under management grew at a 45 per cent compounded annual growth rate, reaching ₹8,603 crore as of March 2026 from ₹4,064 crore as of March 31, 2024. Profit for the year increased to ₹257 crore in FY26 from ₹114 crore in FY25.

AI across the stack

Fibe plans to further integrate AI across customer engagement, risk assessment, credit decisioning, portfolio management and employee productivity. The company’s proprietary scorecard evaluates internal policy checks, credit bureau data, income estimation models and behavioural indicators.

Fibe Mind enables management to access business information, monitor trends and identify factors influencing business performance and growth to support decision-making.

An AI engineering agent assists technology teams with software development activities, including code generation, testing and deployment through integration with internal systems and workflows.
