Enterprise AI adoption in UAE: Nextgen moves HQ to Dubai

Exactly 72% of businesses operating in the UAE have adopted AI, up from 53% a year earlier. UK-founded AI transformation firm Nextgen has officially relocated its global headquarters to Dubai.

The surge in UAE business AI adoption

Research from Strand Partners, developed in collaboration with the UAE Artificial Intelligence Office and Amazon Web Services (AWS), found that 72% of businesses have adopted AI. Among organisations already using AI, 85% reported that the technology had directly accelerated their wider business transformation, while roughly 31% were deploying its most advanced applications.

Moving enterprise AI from experimentation to production

Nextgen works closely with government bodies and large-scale enterprises operating across complex, highly regulated sectors. It works across global AI models and enterprise platforms rather than promoting one proprietary platform, selecting and tailoring technology to an organisation’s specific requirements, use case and existing infrastructure environment.

Its work combines strategic planning with technical engineering. The company said: “We help organisations move AI into production and make sure their people have the skills to use it and benefit from it.”

Nextgen’s Global Footprint at a Glance

Nextgen was founded in 2012 in the United Kingdom and has over 75 dedicated specialists working across five international offices. It supports more than 50 enterprise and government clients, with 200 distinct AI use cases already live in production. The company has expanded from the UK into India and China.
