DheyaTech raises Rs 43 Cr for micro gas turbine engines
Bengaluru-based deeptech company DheyaTech has raised Rs 43 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Avaana Capital, with participation from Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing.
Founded in 2018 by Gurushankara K C, Abhinav Alva, and Chetan Kumar, DheyaTech develops micro gas turbine engines and energy systems for aerospace and power generation applications. Its engine portfolio spans 20 kgf to 400 kgf of thrust, targeting applications across aerial mobility, advanced aerial platforms, and distributed power systems.
DheyaTech has developed an adaptive Engine Control Unit (ECU) and is working on fuel flexible and hydrogen based propulsion and power generation technologies. Its portfolio includes a hydrogen blower and a hydrogen based flexi fuel combustor for its 60 kW flexi fuel turbogenerator.
The fresh capital will be used to scale production, set up an integrated testing facility for its gas turbine engines, and work with domestic and global customers to accelerate deployment timelines. The company said its gas turbines are entering commercial deployment, with flight trials planned for Q4 2026. It has also received confirmed orders from Indian and global OEMs.

The company said its platform approach allows it to develop engines across multiple thrust categories and applications.
Bengaluru-based Nabhdrishti Aerospace, which develops fuel flexible micro gas turbines for aviation, UAVs, and power generation, raised $3 million in a seed round led by Accel in March 2025, following a Rs 3 crore pre-seed round led by IIMA Ventures.
LAT Aerospace, founded by Surobhi Das and Deepinder Goyal, is developing lightweight gas turbine engines for its STOL aircraft programme, with Goyal having invested $20 million in the venture. Hyderabad-based Paninian unveiled its 4.5 kN Yantur turbofan programme in 2026 for autonomous aerospace and defence platforms.
