DaMENSCH Raises Rs 17.4 Cr at Flat Valuation from A91, Tancom

DaMENSCH has raised Rs 17.4 crore in a fresh funding round that leaves its valuation unchanged at Rs 600 crore ($63.5 million). Existing backer A91 Partners and new investor Tancom Electronics participated.
The flat pricing comes as the direct-to-consumer men's apparel market enters a more competitive phase.
According to regulatory filings, the board approved allotting 887 compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS) to A91 Partners at Rs 1,69,052 per share for Rs 15 crore. A separate tranche allotted 168 CCPS to Tancom Electronics at Rs 1,42,692 per share for Rs 2.40 crore.

The company has raised over $28 million to date. A91 Partners is the largest shareholder with a 22.45% stake, followed by Matrix (12.76%), Saama Capital (11.14%), and Whiteboard Capital (9.61%). The company's co-founders hold 10.87% each.
Why it matters
DaMENSCH's revenue grew 34% to Rs 118 crore in FY25, while XYXX scaled 46% to Rs 187 crore and narrowed its loss. The numbers point to a market where brands are scaling, but the gap is emerging in how efficiently they convert growth into profitability.
As competition intensifies, scale, repeat purchases and distribution economics will become increasingly important for these firms.
