CureBay raises around ₹100 Cr pre-Series C for rural clinics

CureBay raised around ₹100 Cr ($10.6 Mn) in a pre-Series C funding round. The healthtech startup secured over ₹69 Cr in equity funding led by IvyCap Ventures, alongside existing investors.

It also raised around ₹30 Cr in debt from Trifecta Capital, Alteria Capital and VentureSoul Partners.

Rural clinics and AI-assisted screening

CureBay connects patients in underserved areas with healthcare providers. It uses a network of rural clinics, local community health workers and a digital platform.

The platform links patients to doctors, hospitals, diagnostic laboratories and pharmacies.

The startup also uses AI-assisted screening and care coordination. Its existing AI products cover areas such as skin conditions, dental health and haemoglobin screening. CureBay is investing in GPUs and training AI models to expand these capabilities.

CureBay currently operates in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Bihar. It plans to enter Telangana and Andhra Pradesh next.

Scaling a network in underserved regions

The fresh capital will fund geographical expansion. CureBay aims to grow its network of rural clinics from 250 to 800 over the next two to three years. It will also invest in technology, AI and its delivery network.

The startup claims to have served over 12 Lakh patients. It has connected more than 270 doctors and 1,000 healthcare professionals across 4,500 pincodes.

CureBay closed FY26 with an annual recurring revenue of nearly ₹170 Cr. Co-founder and CEO Priyadarshi Mohapatra told Inc42 that the startup broke even at an operating EBITDA level in FY26 and aims to double ARR by the end of FY27.

“We have a full suite of AI products for areas like skin, dental, and haemoglobin. We will keep adding more products and continue investing in width as well as depth,”

Mohapatra said.
