CARPL.ai has raised $10 million in a Series A round led by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), with participation from existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners and other undisclosed investors.
The startup had previously raised $6 million in 2023 from Stellaris and angel investors. The capital will go toward strengthening its technology stack, accelerating product development, and expanding its global sales and delivery teams.
A single interface for 300+ AI applications
Founded in 2018 by Vidur Mahajan, CARPL.ai operates an AI-powered platform that lets hospitals and radiologists discover, deploy, manage, and monitor multiple medical imaging AI applications through one interface.
Its marketplace hosts more than 300 AI applications from over 100 vendors — a procurement and integration layer that abstracts away the fragmentation radiologists face when evaluating AI tools.
Why it matters
For a hospital system or radiology network outside India, CARPL.ai offers something operationally specific: a single pane of glass to test, deploy, and govern AI imaging tools without managing a stable of individual vendor relationships.
The startup already serves 30 hospitals and medical centres across North America, Europe, the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, Australia, and Latin America.
Its named customer list — the Singapore government, RadNet, I-MED Radiology, Fleury, Medica, and the Clinton Health Access Initiative in India — signals traction with both public health buyers and large private imaging networks.
An IFC-led round brings not only capital but a development-finance stamp that matters for procurement cycles in emerging-market health systems.
