Biryani Bees raises $1 million from Vivek Oberoi's family office

Biryani and Indian meals brand Biryani Bees has raised $1 million from the Vivek Oberoi Family Office.
The company currently operates three outlets in Uttar Pradesh and will use the investment to expand to 10 outlets across UP, Madhya Pradesh and other Tier II markets.
Biryani Bees operates on a central-kitchen-led model, which it says allows it to maintain consistent food quality and standardised offerings while delivering attractive unit economics across outlets.

The company is operating at an annual revenue run rate of approximately ₹25 crore and remains profitable, according to the company.
The investment will also go toward strengthening Biryani Bees' central kitchen infrastructure, building its operating team and establishing a repeatable expansion playbook for Tier II markets.
“What attracted us to Biryani Bees is not just the love for the product, but the business model behind it,” Oberoi said.
