BioStack raises $9.5 million seed round led by Peak XV

BioStack, a healthcare technology startup, has raised $9.5 million in a seed round led by Peak XV and Afore Capital. DCVC, Emerson Collective, SV Angel, Verdict Capital, Streamlined Ventures, and Y Combinator also participated.
The company said the fresh capital will support international expansion, technology development and the growth of its engineering and research teams.
BioStack, co-founded by Sanat Mishra and Parth Patwa, connects fragmented clinical information across hospitals and healthcare systems to build longitudinal patient records.
Those records combine clinical notes, lab results, medical imaging, medications, treatment histories, and patient outcomes, all drawn from de-identified data.
From that data, the company builds proprietary datasets for medical research, drug development, and the training and evaluation of healthcare AI models.
