Be Clinical raises Rs 21 crore in seed extension funding

D2C skincare brand Be Clinical has raised Rs 21 crore (~$2.2 million) in a seed extension round led by consumer-focused venture capital firm Sauce. The round also saw participation from existing investor V3 Ventures.

Angel investors joined as well, including Mokobara founders Sangeet Agrawal and Navin Parwal, Reckitt executive Arjun Purkayastha, and Shaunak Chirayu Amin. The company did not disclose the valuation at which the capital was raised.

Founded by Hemangi Dhir, Be Clinical launched in May 2025 and targets ageing-related skin concerns with formulations designed specifically for Indian consumers.

Its products undergo clinical trials registered with the Clinical Trial Registry of India, and the startup has moved formulation and manufacturing in-house, a decision Dhir says gives it greater control over ingredients, production, and quality.

The brand sells directly through its website and is also listed on Flipkart. Its range includes serums, eye cream, neck repair cream, and other skincare products, and it claims to have fulfilled roughly 120,000 orders since launch.

“Longevity is expanding into how people look and feel, and Be Clinical is capturing that shift in personal care through a full-stack model with in-house R&D, manufacturing, and clinically tested formulations,” said Sauce vice-president Zoeb Ali Khan. “We see this evidence-led approach as a genuine differentiator in the category, and feel this market and demographic is untapped.”

The fresh capital will go toward strengthening R&D, increasing manufacturing capacity, expanding the skin, body, and haircare range, investing in clinical testing, hiring more staff, and entering new markets.

This round follows a Rs 6 crore seed round in January 2026, led by V3 Ventures with Titan Capital participating, and an earlier Rs 2 crore round in May 2025 led by Titan Capital.

India's beauty and personal care market, valued at $31.19 billion in 2025, is projected to reach $48.72 billion by 2034, per IMARC Group, underlining the long-term tailwind for evidence-led brands like Be Clinical.
