Deeptech robotics startup Armatrix has raised Rs 67.28 crore in a seed round led by UK-based Crane Venture Partners, with participation from new and existing investors. The round comes less than a year after its pre-seed.

Crane Venture Partners invested Rs 40 crore. Existing investor pi Ventures put in Rs 15 crore, followed by gradCapital with Rs 4.52 crore, Boundless Ventures with Rs 2.5 crore and Inuka Capital with Rs 2.37 crore.

NKSquared also joined the round with Rs 2.37 crore, marking its entry into the company.

AL Trust, Saurabh Chandra, Unacademy co-founder Roman Saini and existing investor Narayan Rangarajan together invested Rs 67 lakh.

According to Entrackr’s estimates, the company’s valuation jumped 4.8X to Rs 360 crore in the seed round from Rs 75 crore at the pre-seed stage.

Regulatory filings show Armatrix allotted 4,070 compulsory convertible preference shares at an issue price of Rs 1,64,900 per share, along with 10 equity shares.

The round appears to be ongoing, and the company is likely to raise more capital in subsequent tranches. It plans to use the proceeds for business expansion and general corporate purposes.

Founded in 2024 by Vishrant Dave, Prateesh Awasthi and Ayush Ranjan, Armatrix develops snake-like robotic manipulators for operations in hazardous and confined industrial spaces.

Its technology is designed for inspection and maintenance across sectors such as shipbuilding, nuclear energy, oil and gas, and aviation, reducing the need for human workers to enter dangerous spaces.

In January 2026, Armatrix raised $2.1 million in a pre-seed round led by pi Ventures, with participation from Inuka Capital, Boundless Ventures, Boost VC, Turbostart and gradCapital.

The company remained at the pre-revenue stage in FY26 and reported a net loss of Rs 3.05 crore.
