Alive App raises $1M seed funding from Powerhouse Ventures, Flipkart Ventures

Alive App, an AI-powered experience-tech platform, has raised $1 million in a seed funding round led by Powerhouse Ventures, with participation from Flipkart Ventures.
The Bengaluru-based startup had previously raised Rs 6 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Powerhouse Ventures last year.
Founded in 2023 by Vivek Kumar, Alive App helps users discover curated experiences across adventure, food, wellness, art, culture and learning. The startup is building technology and supply infrastructure for India's experience economy.
Alive App currently operates across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi and Goa, offering more than 500 experiences through a network of over 400 creators and partners. The company currently adds around 100 new experiences every month.
The company will use the fresh capital to expand its product and experience supply as it seeks to increase the frequency of leisure and experience-based activities among urban consumers.

The startup said it has recorded its first profitable quarter in Bengaluru, its first and largest market. Over the past six months, it has expanded to Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi, in addition to its presence in Goa.
Its experience supply in Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Goa has grown five times faster than during its initial expansion phase, it said. The company is targeting 3X revenue growth over the next few months and plans to focus on increasing user frequency on its platform.
Experience-tech platforms are using technology to aggregate and create experiences across categories as demand for discovery and experiential consumption grows among urban consumers.
In this segment, Bucketlistt raised Rs 1.07 crore in pre-seed funding in June 2026 to build a curated marketplace for verified experiences, including adventure, cultural and immersive activities.
Urbanaut offers curated city experiences, events, workshops, culinary pop-ups, wellness and cultural activities, while experiential travel brand WanderOn raised Rs 54 crore in Series A funding in 2026.
