ADIA Lenskart Stake Sale: ₹2,390.6 Cr Bulk Deal

The move: ADIA sells ₹2,390.6 Cr of Lenskart shares
Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) offloaded 3.5 Cr Lenskart shares through its holding entity, Platinum Jasmine A 2018 Trust, in a bulk deal priced at ₹683.02 per share.
The sale generated ₹2,390.6 Cr and represents slightly over 20% of the shares held by ADIA, or around 2% of Lenskart’s total equity. As of June 30, 2026, the trust held 16.98 Cr shares, equivalent to a 9.77% stake.
This is ADIA’s second stake reduction in recent months. In June, it sold 4 Cr shares in a block deal worth ₹1,960 Cr at ₹490 per share.
What Lenskart does
Lenskart is an eyewear company whose shares debuted on the BSE at ₹390 apiece in November 2025. The company reported ₹2,714.2 Cr in operating revenue and ₹228.4 Cr in consolidated net profit in Q1 FY27.

The Lenskart share sale and recent trading
Lenskart’s shares have rallied 51.3% on a year-to-date basis. The June block deal valued a share at ₹490, about 40% lower than the closing price cited in the source.
SoftBank, Temasek and Alpha Wave have offloaded shares in recent months. BNP Paribas, Societe Generale and Millennium Management sold shares worth ₹2,670.2 Cr through multiple bulk deals on September 1.
Lenskart closed at ₹683.85 on the NSE, down 3.3% for the session. It had reached an all-time high of ₹725 on September 18.
