72 Street raises Rs 4 crore from UHNIs for AI wealthtech platform

Wealthtech startup 72 Street has raised ₹4 crore from ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs) and angel investors.
Founded by Rohit Agarwal and Fal Ghancha in 2025, the platform combines SEBI-registered research with AI-powered analysis to make stock-market research accessible to retail investors.
The platform's recommendations are prepared and reviewed by its team of SEBI-registered research analysts, the company said.

The firm’s AI-powered stock market researcher, Venty, claims to scan more than 3,800 NSE- and BSE-listed stocks across fundamental, technical and sentiment indicators, and can provide a first read on a stock in under 20 seconds.
“Retail investors have more market information than ever, but understanding it is a different challenge. Our objective with the 72 Street app is to make research transparent and easy to understand, reviewed by our analysts before it reaches investors. We're building a trusted research destination for India's growing investor community,” said Agarwal.
The fresh investment comes as the firm looks to expand its offerings beyond equities into Futures & Options, model portfolios, mutual funds and commodities.
Going ahead, it is also planning to seek SEBI Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) registration, which would enable it to offer personalised, one-on-one investment advisory services to individual investors.
